Information collected
When you use the Contact form, the website collects your name, email address, selected topic, optional match URL or reference, message, affirmative consent selection, and submission time. The server also derives a one-way hash from the request address to apply a limit of five contact submissions per hour from the same source. The raw address is used at request time for this abuse-control check; the contact record stores the hash, not the raw address.
The service may generate routine technical logs, including request time, requested route, response status, browser or device signals, and security events. These records help deliver the site, investigate faults, and protect against abuse. The provider credential used for cricket data is held server-side and is not displayed to visitors or intentionally stored in public logs.
The public cricket pages do not require a visitor account. If an optional operator sign-in capability is used in the future, it may process the account identifier, name, email, login method, and sign-in time provided by the authentication service. A separate notice will be provided if that capability becomes a public user feature.
Why the information is used
Contact-form information is used only to respond to the selected question, investigate a reported match-data issue, handle a privacy request or grievance, or answer an advertising enquiry. The source-address hash and technical logs are used to prevent abuse, maintain security, and diagnose faults. STARsBUZZ does not use a contact message to create a marketing audience or make automated decisions about a person.
The form requires a clear affirmative consent selection before it can be submitted. Where consent is the basis for processing, you may withdraw it for future handling by contacting the operator. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before the request or processing that must continue under applicable law.
Hosting, database, and service providers
Contact submissions are stored in the website’s managed relational database. Managed hosting, database, storage, security, and communication providers may process limited information on the operator’s behalf to run the service. Cricket records are obtained through Sportmonks Cricket API; the provider receives server-to-server requests needed to retrieve data and does not receive the contents of your Contact form through that integration.
STARsBUZZ does not currently place Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion, Google remarketing, Meta Pixel, or similar advertising tags on the public site. If non-essential analytics, advertising, remarketing, or social features are added, this policy and the Cookie Policy will be updated and any required consent choices will be made available before those technologies are activated.
Retention and deletion requests
Contact information is kept while the request is being handled and afterwards only for as long as reasonably necessary for follow-up, security, recordkeeping, dispute handling, or a legal obligation. Technical records are retained for a shorter operational and security period where practicable. The current application does not promise a fixed automated deletion date; this policy will be updated if a formal retention schedule or automated deletion process is introduced.
You may ask the operator to review, correct, delete, or stop future use of personal data associated with your request. Send the request from the same email address used in the form where possible and state the relevant reference or approximate submission date. The operator may need limited information to verify the request and may retain information where applicable law requires or permits it.
Security and children
STARsBUZZ uses server-side validation, controlled form fields, bounded message lengths, managed secrets, database access controls, and rate limiting. No online service can guarantee absolute security. If a personal-data incident requires notification under applicable law, the operator will follow the applicable process.
The Contact form is not intended for a child to provide personal information without a parent or lawful guardian. If the operator learns that inappropriate child data was submitted, it will review the request and take action as required by applicable law.
Changes and complaints
This notice will change when the website’s data collection, cookies, contact process, technology, or legal obligations materially change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
